Unregistered property Document - Reg: My Father (Party A) has purchased land with someone( party B) in 1991. The agreement was made properly with two witnesses. But it was not registered with the Registered office. We built a house in that place in 1991 itself we are still living in the same place. When I was checking EC view our name was not reflected in the period of 1991. it is combined land for 11 people and there is no subdivisions yet. one of the 11 people our Grandpa also one person, so after his (Grandpa) death, our father's name has been added in Chitta. other than grandpa's land, we had purchased this land from Party B in 1991.Now the problem is, that Party B has died some years ago, He (party B) has two wives, first one has no children and the second one has children. They are not aware of these things yet, But still, Party B name is coming in Chitta. They are not asking the property from us, but I want to legalize our purchased land. what is the procedure for that? Whether Unregistered document is a valid doc or not?I heard somewhere that before 1995 Unregistered property Document has some power for court evidence, is that true or not?
