My Institute is a Central autonomous body that works under the Indian National Science Academy(INSA), New Delhi which receives funds from the Department of Science and Technology(DST), New Delhi.Ours is a small center which had only 12 staff during all these years. Most have retired and currently, only 4 of us are working. Hence our head office has decided to close the office by 31 August 2020. But they offered the same position at our Delhi office ( without break in service) for 4 of us. They have advised us to join by 31 August 2020 at the Delhi office(INSA).Due to my family reasons, I have dependent parents, my father is a heart patient (who has undergone heart surgery), and my dependent mother in law who stays with us. I cannot move to Delhi to accept the offer and work there (but my other colleagues have accepted the offer). At the same time, I am also in deadly need of a monthly salary to take care of my parents' medical and living expenses.Hence, I wrote a letter asking for placement in Chennai, but my head office informed me it is not possible. It would be better for me if my office could give at least compensation to me so that I could manage my financial needs till I settle in the new job.I have checked the rules there is scope for that under the Special Voluntary Retirement Scheme of DOPT, India.I would now kindly request you to draft a letter legally quoting the rightful compensation for me so that I could send my request to my head office at the earliest. I do not want to fight against my InstitutePopular Legal Questions:https://www.lawyerchennai.com/legal-consultation/legal-heirs-make-false-information-to-police-station-and-advocates/https://www.lawyerchennai.com/legal-consultation/law-firm-for-upcoming-solarproject/https://www.lawyerchennai.com/legal-consultation/birth-certificate-for-my-sister-passport-issue/
