How do share the property?

How do share the property? I am Shamani Vengalam from TRICHY. My grandmother has 7 Children, 3 female, and 4 male. In fact, My grandmother has a property. By the way, My grandfather is also dead. Whether my grandmother's property has been shared for all 7 children? Or else whether my grandmother has the right to give it to anyone whom she likes? If she can give it to anyone she likes, is there any other way to claim it by other children?
